Former Rivers State Governor says it is too early to assess his successor,Governor Nyesom Wike.


The Minister of Transport and former Governor of Rivers State,Rt Hon Rotimi Chibuike has said that it is too early to assess the present state Governor,Governor Nyesom Wike.

Rt Hon Amaechi who paid a condolence visit to the family of the late writer, Elechi Amadi, at Aluu said,

"It is too early to assess Nyesom Wike.It is too early to assess him. It is just one year. You cannot be comparing his one year to my one year,let us allow him. Maybe ,he will achieve it in his second year,maybe he will achieve it in his third year.

    Okay ooo. He had been Governor for 8 years, Speaker State House of Assembly for 8 years. Nigerian oligarchy at play. They are all friends to each other. A day of paying respect to the departed writer should not have been used for playing politics if you ask me.
