Suspect takes Police to where they buried a prominent Rivers Chief after collecting 10m ransom

Police has released photos of one of the kidnappers who killed a prominent Chief in Rivers state after collecting N10m ransom and still refused to release his corpse to the family.


A kidnap suspect and native of Woji Town in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, Ogechi Ihunwo, is one of the kidnappers who killed a prominent Chief in the state after collecting N10 million ransom from the family.




After being arrested by security operatives, he has confessed that persons from the deceased's community contacted them to execute the job
He has also taken the anti-kidnapping team of Rivers State Police Command to their den located at Eneka/Igbo-Etche forest, where the deceased corpse was buried.
Ihunwo and five other members of his gang, are currently standing trial at the Rivers State HIgh Court.

  4. Oh God. What is going on? People from the same community settling scores in this manner? Ten million Naira!! The victim was still killed and his corpse was not released to his family!!!
