A four storey building under construction in Okeani, Oko community has collapsed killing three people.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the building is owned by an indigene of the community who is based in Europe.
A source told NAN that the incident occurred at about 2a.m Tuesday after heavy rainfall in the area.
According to the source who pleaded anonymity, the deceased were construction workers who were fast asleep when the incident occured.
A neighbor told journalists that one of the survivors and student of the Oko polytechnic, simply identified as Samuel sustained fracture on his hand.
“When the building first showed sign of collapse on Sunday, Musa advised his co-workers to vacate the building, but some of them did not heed his advice,” she said.
